You should never freely give advice. You should only advise when somebody asks you for your opinion. Otherwise you should just listen. Most people just want to vent.

I think the best way to give advice, is to first ask, “Hey, do you want advice?” Or, “Want to hear my take?” etc. That way people end up asking you for advice, and won’t be offended.

If someone has been offended at your advice, I would probably be careful around them. In my mind, you have to at least try once to know. Also, depending on how long/how well you know someone that would also change things for me. The longer I know someone, the more I can give advice without offending. If I don’t know them well, they might get offended. Look forward to your follow up post

Continue to give advice, i think it is like a noble act.
But it is not the same between private and professionnel advice.
I think professionnel advice is something that you have to do.
The private advice is for someone who you love, and with love there are no cconditions.
